Case Sticking to the Screen
Newer cases may stick to the screen due to moisture, but over time the sticking will
fade. However, ShadesCases has not yet found a solution that completely fixes the
screen sticking problem. If you have any suggestions or solutions please email us.
Customer Tips & Suggestions
"Remove the case a few times during the week and clean it with a lint free cloth (the cloth that came with your iPhone). I tried this and eventually the screen stopped sticking. Also what helps is dabbing your finger in corn starch or powdered sugar and slightly rubbing a little on the inside of the case."
"I have purchased shades for both an iPod touch and an iPhone. With both devices my shade was sticking to the screen, but I was able to resolve this issue by using a static cling screen protector on the screen and then applying the shade. The static cling protector's can be purchased at Wal-Mart for approximately $6.00 per pack, with each pack containing 2 static cling sheets. These two sheets will yield approximately 4 iPhone screen protectors. Just thought I'd offer my experience."
"For customers who remark about the bubbly blotches which appear when the smooth polyurethane of the case adheres to the iPod's acrylic screen, I have a solution which works great: Take a long-handled makeup brush and dab it lightly into a box of plain ol' cornstarch and swab the entire inside of the case with it."
