My gf has the Nano 3rd generation with the Shades case. The case is perfect. It doesn't try to do to much, like other cases that think that their 1993, design is what consumers want. The case is clear, matches the color of her ipod, and protects it very well as it spends most of its time in her bag, being constantly bombarded by keys and hair brushes. Shades definitely makes the best case for those of us that enjoy the simple, beautiful look of our ipods, but want to keep it from getting scratched and damaged.

i got one about a week ago for my ipod touch. it covers the ipod great, and touching the screen is still easy. but now my ipod doesn't fit in my radio dock.. and it was extremely hard to get on.

i ordered an orange case, but when it came in it was more of a yellow sunshine instead of orange. i e-mailed them and they sent me a different color of my choice and another orange because they said the color was faded. i kept the blue one and was able to send both orange cases back. they were very helpful and i really like the case now.

I bought one for my ipod touch. The first one that arrived had bubbles, the second also had bubbles, and the third was mistakenly an iphone case. The fourth case I received however, was perfect. I could not ask for a better case. I will be buying one for the new iphone as well when it comes out. I would give a 5/5 if it just didn't take them 4 tries to get it right.

I just got my iPhone Red Shades Case today! I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the shade and how it fits. Oh and if you look on the pictures of the iPhone shades their appears to be a "bubble" in the screen, I assure you there is not one bubble on mine. I would recommend this shades for any iPhone, iPod, or whatever, they ROCK!! Also I think how they shipped it in there package was a very smart way to save the enviornment. I just received a Red Shades case for my iPhone today. I have to say that I am exceedingly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The color is beautiful and I love the integrated, clear screen protection. The cutouts for the sensor, camera, and silence buttons are exactly where they should be positioned. In addition, the opening along the bottom allows for full universal dock access. As for fit, the case slipped on very easily and looks very professional. The prices can't be beat and I loved the environmentally responsible minimal packaging! I've read lots of reviews and experienced numerous cases and I have to say that this is my favorite. It's soft but not too slick to hold easily and adds very little bulk and negligible weight. My iPhone looks gorgeous and I look forward to adding color and protection to both my iPod with Video and my iPod Nano in the very near future! All I have to do is pick just two of the multitude of beautiful colors! I cannot recommend these cases more highly, thank you so much for such a quality product.

I just got an 80GB and wouldn't use it until I had a good case of some sort on it (Learned my lesson w/ my older, now very scratched ipod). Anyways, so far, I pretty much love the Shades case. It was a bit of a trick to put on, and I'm pretty sure it will never come off, so hopefully dirt and stuff doesn't get inside. There is a bit of bubbles on the screen area, but overall it's not bad. The scroll wheel Menu and play icons don't exactly match up, but it's close enough for me. My least favorite part is how the case "closes" on the bottom of the iPOD. It sorta just is left gaping open...so we'll see how that turns out. It is incredibly sleek, and WAY better than silicone that has stuff stick to it. I am getting a leather folio to keep it in while not in use... I'll certainly be buying more of these in the future.

I purchased a black shade for my 30g ipod. Really liked the fit and function, but there was a little damage that may have occurred in shipping... A quick email to the site, and I had excellent hands-on and prompt attention, and was sent a replacement case immediately. It works great, and I love the low profile slim design. I love this ipod case and I haven't even ordered one yet! I'm getting the one for a third generation nano in hot pink and ultra violet! It looks so stylish and sleek. It's a Shame that iPod users do not all have a Shades for their iPod. WOW !!! Just received mine (I got 3 for the price of 2 so I gave one to my husband who's also extatic about it. I was looking for a case to protect by future ipod classic and came upon this. I was looking through the website and saw a promotion for a possible free case, if you answered 3 questions right. Got them right. Won the case. Ordered it on the same day as my ipod and got in a week sooner. Very fast shipping!!! I got the teal, and I really like it. The scroll wheel got a little time to get used to, about 2 days. Fits very snugly. My only complaint is the air bubbles, but I am sure that I will be to get out if I try.

I like that the product is sleek, it hugs the ipod classic nicely. The openings for the earphones, lock button, and computer adapter are great. I do have a gripe though. I got three, 2 for myself and 1 for a friend. The one for the friend which was a ipod nano, fit very nicely. The black one I got fit nicely, but the third one, which is the one that came free as part of a promo, did not fit well for my ipod. I think it scratched my screen a bit and the menu, scan buttons, and play button don't align at all. Because it's blue and misaligned it looked even worse,
Still liked it besides the colored ones. Shrug... From what I've read in the reviews looks like defective ones get sent out every now and then.

Ordered on Monday received on Thursday -- so quick! Easy fit although I was worried since I ordered for the 80 GB classic and the label said 160GB. However, it was the right one and fits like a glove. I got the clear version which is subtle and very slick looking. Wheel is a little less sensitive so will take a little getting used to but certainly is operational. I have to work a little on the bubble issue in the screen area. Can you make the review section of your website more readable (choice of font color v. background makes some of the words disappear) so that I can see what other users are doing? Thanks!

Just wanted to let you guys know that I love your product! I spent 3 months looking for a protective covering that applied to the wheel, screen and entire product without being bulky and I absolutely love my new shades case!!!! It's hard to get rid of the blotches on the screen but that is my only complaint.

This product works as described and is very form fitting. The clear cover protects the entire ipod classic (6th gen.) without compromising the aesthetic beauty or function of the music player. Also, the slip- on skin does not add bulk or weight to the ipod as compared to other products on the market. 4 out of 5 stars only because the skin is a bit awkward to insert and remove, but really is no big deal since the product was designed to fit like a glove.

Tight fit, looks better on the website than it does in real life. Wish they had real photos of actual product on site. Hard to put ipod into case without getting bubbles between case and ipod screen. Impossible to remove without tearing the case at it's seams. Scroll wheel is difficult to scroll with case on.

After researching cases online and at all the electronic stores, I finally decided to buy a Shades case because of its small size, which maintains the iPod's sleek design.

I received my case within a few days and it was great except the fact that the cut around the "hold" button was cracked and the screen cover had a tendency to stick to the screen of the iPod.

Nevertheless, I got online and within seconds was able to talk to Jennifer, the customer service representative on AIM. Jennifer was very responsive and had a new Shades case shipped out the very next business day. I received the replacement case within days, which fit and looked great. All of the cuts are clean and fit around the buttons/jacks. Also, the case does not stick to the screen at all even when pressed down.

In summary, these are great cases that really maintain the integrity of the iPod design. Also, the customer service is awesome and they really work hard to make sure that you get what you pay for.

The case is thin and it looks great. But I think it is a little bit too tight so it is hard to "gently" slide the ipod into it. And it scratches the back of my ipod. Also, the position of the "MENU" on the case does not match the "MENU" on the ipod.

I really like my new case. It protects my iPod, but still allows me to connect it to my accessories without pulling it off. It's also very nice to have a case, but still enjoy the small size of the iPod.

Maintains the style and light weight of the 3G nano. Best case out of all the cases I have experienced with my previous 5 iPods. Worth mentioning is the excellent Customer Service. Well, i own a 30GB iPod in white and I bought a $40 leather case with it from incase at the Apple store. And I have to say that I like it, BUT, it doubles the size of the iPod. Sometimes it is even hard to fit in my pockets. So far this is the BEST case I have seen, but what I love most about it is the fact that the iPod stays the same size and very close to the same weight. AWESOME product, no other comparison, and I have seen all the others and there is no other like it!

I have the shades case for the ipod nano 3rd generation and it fits fantastic,very thin and durable. Great looking protection for your ipod nano.

For reviewers who remark about the bubbly blotches which appear when the smooth polyurethane of the case adheres to the iPod's acrylic screen, I have a solution which works great:

Take a long-handled makeup brush and dab it lightly into a box of plain ol' cornstarch and swab the entire inside of the case with it. Next, tap the excess cornstarch off the brush and then vigorously swab out the case again so that no loose powder remains to work its way into the iPod's components and, presto, no more sticking! I won't use baby powder because it has perfumes/additives which might harm the plastics.

On a related note, I also find that my 160gb iPod Classic fits EXTREMELY well into the "Size B" iPod-Video case (it's a 'snug' vs. a 'skintight' fit). The 80gb iPod-Video is about .5mm thicker than the new Classic, so the tiny difference in roominess is enough to keep me from having to wrestle it on/off my player. Oh, and I also don't have to worry about tearing the opening like another reviewer accidentally did.

And, finally, the physics of a skintight fit apparently causes the iPod to strain against the case's opening, which forces the opening slit apart and makes it look slightly "flappy," ill-tailored and inelegant. The reviewers who love the case's tightness haven't appeared to notice this issue. But, for those who are as finicky as I am: a slightly roomier case (.5mm!) is enough to ensure that its opening remains satisfyingly invisible.

Hopefully, my suggestions will help the next Shades owner get the most satisfaction out of his own purchase. Shades certainly has helped me turn my own iPod into the colorfully chic little fashion accessory I envisioned it to be!

I have the iPod classic and it is so hard to find nice cases for it. They are usually ugly and bulky. I was so upset because they have so many cute cases for the nano but the nano isn't enough space for me. This case looks beautiful on the black classic I have, it is so thin too! I am thinking about ordering a few more just to have a variety of colors. Great product!

I think the case is as close as you can get to a case fitting snugly with no bulk. The only negative for me the possibility of the seams tearing (it's happened already). I'm a Senior Klutz and have a problem taking the cover off without ripping the seam. For genuine screwups like me it would be great to be able to strengthen the seams, if that were omehow possible.

I have to say this is the best case that I have ever had for my iPod video! The only thing that i really don't like is how the case rubs up against the screen and makes it look blotchy, but I am able to get over it and still make it my favorite case I have had so far.

This is a great case. Fast shipping and looks great on iPod. The only thing about is you need something like qtips to put in each side and the top to slip the iPod in and out of the case but it wont fall off and it will keep it protected. The case reminds me of the plastic covers you would get for a highschool yearbook.

It took an extended amount of time to receive my case, but I was given another case for free with my purchase because of it. The case doesn't attract dirt and fits perfectly on the iPod Nano.

I have always been impressed with the Shades case for my iPod Video. my problem had always been the back flap for inserting the case would stick out and not sit flush. Now using the new bottom opening the Shades Case perfectly wraps the iPod and looks incredible.

I really like the look and feel of this case, the rubberlike material is not dull, it has a shine to it and the available colors are fantastic. This case will keep the iPod protected if you happen to spill something on it, it's easy to wipe clean. Compared to some of the other rubber material cases I have tried, this one tops them all in looks and functionality.

I like the case's snug fit and total (screen and click wheel) protection. I prefer the smooth texture of the case which allows me to slip the iPod in and out of my pockets more easily than my previous silicone case. And the price is right!
